New Year, New You?

It’s 2012.  I know I am stating the obvious there.  With the new year come resolutions, most of which only last a few months. 

I feel like a lot of people are into the whole “I want to exercise more this year” deal, which is great and I fully support everyone who wants to.  While I’d also like to exercise more, mostly just to try to live an all around healthier lifestyle, this year I’d just like to deal with myself in more of a mental way.

I’d like to feel good about myself every day not just some days.  I’d like to be able to look at myself in the mirror and like what I see.  To not feel like absolute shit because I actually have one pimple on my face.

I’d like to feel less anxious about almost every aspect of my life.  To not have anxiety attacks or nervous break downs over things.

As much as I’d like to change myself physically this year, I think it’s time I focus on the mental aspect this time round.

There really is no point to this.
